Consultation and Psychodiagnostics

Consultation is a fundamental part of our treatment programme, and takes place individually with the clinical psychologist, who immediately becomes the client's "case manager”.

The consultation phase requires from two to four individual sessions with the specialist who may make use of diagnostic methods, where necessary, in order to formulate a psychodiagnosis.

At the end of the consultation the client will always receive a comprehensive feedback pertaining to the issues discussed during the sessions and the diagnostics.

This not only provides the client with clear, straightforward information regarding problem areas and his or her diagnostic profile, but also explains the therapeutic options available, at or outside the Studio itself.

The Studio can arrange referrals to other organisations or specialists both in the private or public sector.

The client's case manager maintains this role throughout the consultation phase and prepares a therapeutic programme for the client which he or she may decide to follow.

The Venosta International Studio of Mental Health’ psychodiagnosticians are qualified in both adult and child psychodiagnosis. They conduct psychodiagnostic as well as cognitive and aptitude testing, which can be particularly valuable for both educational and occupational purposes.
